CAI Opens CAI Gallery in Kortrijk, Belgium

Office and Gallery of Contemporary Art Issue

CAI is pleased to announce the opening of a new exhibition space in Kortrijk, Belgium. Located on the prestigious Schouwburgplein – one of the main squares of the city across the city theatre – CAI Gallery will function as the office and gallery of Contemporary Art Issue, as well as a project space for research, artist editions, book releases, lectures and more.

"Over the years, CAI has been very close with different actors from the international art scene, resulting in a community and network of artists, critics, collectors and more. Therefore, it is our objective to (re)present the rising stars from the international art scene in Kortrijk (Belgium), supported by the online platform and publishing activities of Contemporary Art Issue." The gallery program is curated in an innovative and refreshing manner, distinguishing itself from other traditional galleries. Due to the extensive expertise when it comes to contemporary art criticism as a result of the CAI's research activities, a kaleidoscopic approach is implemented using objective and analytical research tools in order to select the most promising artists when it comes to career trends and the estimated potential return on investment when it comes to collecting works by these artists.
